Hello, little friends! Welcome back to our English lesson. Today we are going to meet a new letter. It is the letter b!

Look at this big yellow letter. This is b. Can you say it with me? b!

The letter b makes a sound. Press your lips together and pop them open. b, b, b. It sounds like a little bubble popping. b, b, b. Very good!

Now look at the picture. There is a happy boy sitting on a sofa. Can you say boy? Boy! Boy starts with b. b, b, boy.

What is the boy holding? It is a yellow banana! Say banana. Banana! Banana starts with b too. b, b, banana.

Listen to what the boy is doing. The boy is eating a banana. Say it with me. The boy is eating a banana. Wonderful!

Yum, yum! The banana is soft and sweet. The boy is smiling.

Now let us look at some more pictures. These words also begin with the letter b.

Here is a basket. We can carry fruit in a basket. Say basket. Basket!

Here is a bee. It is yellow and black, and it goes buzz, buzz, buzz. Say bee. Bee!

And here is a bus. It is big and blue, and it takes people to lots of places. Say bus. Bus!

Let us say all our b words together. Boy. Banana. Basket. Bee. Bus. Great job!

Now it is time to trace the letter b. Hold up your finger. Let us draw b in the air.

Start at the top. Go straight down, all the way down, like a tall tree. Now go back up a little bit, and go round to make a big round tummy. That is the letter b!

Let us do it again. Start at the top. Straight down. Back up. Round the tummy. b!

One more time, nice and slow. Down, up, and round. Well done!

Remember, b has a tall line first, and then the tummy comes after.

When you trace b in your book, always start at the red dot at the top. Go slowly and carefully.

After tracing, you can colour the big letter b in your book. And you can colour the banana a lovely bright yellow.
