Revision Activity 1: Who Does What?
Time: 8 minutes
- Teacher says a chore; students say who does it in the story:
- Sweeps the kitchen (Mother)
- Washes the dishes (Mother)
- Mops the drawing room floor (Father)
- Cuts the grass (Father)
- Vacuums the rugs (Hashir)
- Empties the trash (Hashir)
- Takes the garbage out (Hania and her brother)
- Weeds the garden (Hania)
- Waters the plants (Brother)
- Makes the bed (Hania)
Revision Activity 2: Same Sound Sorting
Time: 8 minutes
- Write words on the board; students sort them by beginning sound:
- /b/ group: boy, bag, bus, box, bell
- /c/ group: cat, car, cup, cap, cow
- /m/ group: mat, man, mop, map, mug
- Then sort by ending sound:
- words ending in /t/: cat, rat, mat, bat, fat
- words ending in /n/: pin, bin, bun, fun, run
Revision Activity 3: My, Your, His, Her
Time: 7 minutes
- Teacher holds up an object and says: "This is MY book."
- Gives it to a student: "This is YOUR book."
- Points to a boy who has it: "This is HIS book."
- Points to a girl who has it: "This is HER book."
- Two students hold it: "This is THEIR book."
- Students practise with different objects
Revision Activity 4: Alphabetical Order Race
Time: 7 minutes
- Give each team a set of 5 word cards
- Teams race to arrange them in alphabetical order
- Set 1: fish, goat, table, wood, potato
- Set 2: apple, cat, sun, umbrella, zoo
- Set 3: ball, dog, hat, key, mango
Revision Activity 5: Creative Writing Review
Time: 5 minutes
- Students complete sentences from memory using the word bank: bloom, long, morning, boat, bird
- Days are ___ in winters.
- A crow is a ___.
- Flowers ___ in spring.

- Family members share chores: sweeping, washing, mopping, vacuuming, gardening
- Doing chores teaches responsibility and teamwork
- Same beginning sound: boy, bag, bus (all start with /b/)
- Same ending sound: cat, rat, mat (all end with /t/)
- Possessive pronouns: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs
- Alphabetical order: look at the first letter to arrange words
