Hello, little friends! Welcome back. Today we are going to meet a wiggly new letter. Are you ready? Let's go!

This is the letter s. Can you say s? Well done!

The letter s makes a sound like a snake. Ssss. Ssss. Can you make the snake sound with me? Ssss!

Let's make a long snake sound. Sssssss. Now a short one. Ss. Now a tiny whisper. Ssss. Great hissing!

Now let's look at a sunny field. There is a little house and lots of flowers. And look, there is a snake!

Snake. Sss, snake. Snake begins with s. Can you say snake? Super!

The snake is green and very friendly. Can you wiggle your arm like a snake? Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle!

Now look at the tall yellow flower with a big smiling face. It is a sunflower. Sunflower. Sss, sunflower. Sunflower begins with s too.

Can you stretch up tall like a sunflower? Reach up high to the sun!

The snake and the sunflower are friends. Listen carefully. A happy green snake is playing with a sunflower.

Sheep, ship and shirt all start with the letter s. Listen, they make a shh sound at the start.

Now it is time to trace the letter s. Hold up your pointing finger. Ready?

Put your finger at the top, near the right side. Curve round to the left. Then curve back round to the right. Finish at the bottom. That is s! It looks like a wiggly snake.
