- Life Together: 25 years of marriage. She was a loving wife and his best companion.
- Passing: Died at age 65 in 619 AD. She was the first woman to embrace Islam.

- When the first consonant is silent (mute), focus on the sound of the next letter.

- "a knight" — "k" is silent, but the sound starts with a consonant ("n").
- "a knife" — "k" is silent, but the sound starts with a consonant ("n").
Rule: Use "an" if the word SOUNDS like it starts with a vowel. Use "a" if it SOUNDS like it starts with a consonant.
