Revision Objectives
By the end of revision, students should be confident in:
- Recalling details about Ayesha's family from the reading passage
- Using vocabulary words (funny, tall, like) correctly
- Identifying and spelling words with silent "w" and silent "k"
- Forming plurals of nouns using four rules (add s, add es, y to ies, irregular)
- Dividing words into syllables
- Using greeting expressions in conversation
Revision Activity 1: Family Tree Recall (10 minutes)
Type: Written and visual
- Draw a simple family tree on the board for Ayesha's family.
- Students copy it into their notebooks and label each member:
- Father: Arshad (shopkeeper)
- Mother: Shama (housewife)
- Children: Ayesha (8 years), Ali (3 years), Nimra (8 months)
- Father's sister (aunt): Farzana
- Mother's brothers (maternal uncles): Ilyas, Mahmood
- Pet: Luna (cat)
- Students then draw their own family tree underneath.
Revision Activity 2: Silent Letter Sorting (10 minutes)
Type: Group activity
- Write these words on cards: wrinkle, wrist, write, wrong, knife, knock, know, knee.
- Make two columns on the board: "Silent W" and "Silent K".
- Students take turns picking a card and placing it in the correct column.
- After sorting, students read each word aloud with correct pronunciation.

- Then they create a new short dialogue using these expressions:
- Good morning / Good afternoon
- How are you?
- I am fine, thank you.
- Where are you going?
- Let us go together.
- Two or three pairs perform their dialogues for the class.
Revision Activity 6: Vocabulary Sentences (10 minutes)
Type: Written
Students write sentences using each vocabulary word:

Then answer: 4. What does "funny" mean? _______________________________________________ 5. What does "tall" mean? _______________________________________________
