Assessment Objectives
By the end of this unit, students should be able to:
- Recall key facts about the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
- Answer comprehension questions about the passage
- Identify and name at least 6 animals from the vocabulary list
- Write capital and small letters of the English alphabet
- Fill in missing letters in alphabetical order
- Use a polite dialogue to borrow something
Formative Assessment
1. Oral Comprehension (During Day 1-2)
- Task: Students answer orally:
- Where was the Holy Prophet (PBUH) born?
- What were the names of His father and mother?
- Why was He called "Sadiq" and "Ameen"?
- Where did He receive the first revelation?
- Where is His holy shrine?
- Rating: All correct / Most correct / Needs support
2. Animal Vocabulary Check (During Day 2)
- Task: Show 8 animal pictures; students name each one
- Animals: fox, lion, elephant, camel, rhino, peacock, goat, tiger
- Criteria: Correctly names at least 6 out of 8
- Rating: Excellent / Good / Needs Practice
3. Alphabet Writing (During Day 3)
- Task: Students write all 26 letters (capital and small) from Aa to Zz
- Criteria:
- Correct letter formation
- Correct order
- Distinction between capital and small letters
- Rating: Complete and neat / Mostly correct / Needs improvement
4. Missing Letters (During Day 3)
- Task: Fill in the missing letters:
- Before: ___ Cc, ___ Hh
- Between: Dd ___ Ff, Jj ___ Ll
- After: Aa ___, Mm ___
- Criteria: All blanks filled correctly
- Rating: All correct / Most correct / Needs practice
